During UPT's Annual Awards Weekend in February, Oklahoma City company driver, Carl Andrew, was awarded the title of Driver of the Year, UPT's most coveted award. Carl has been driving for UPT for thirty years. This is his second time securing the title. 

Over six hundred and fifty professional drivers are working for United Petroleum Transports. This fleet consists of some of the most talented, hard-working, and safety-oriented professional drivers in the nation, and it’s very important to us that our drivers know how much we appreciate them.  We try to do so in multiple ways, but the most prominent and public way we celebrate our drivers is our annual Driver of the Year award.

Every year, the top twelve performing professional drivers are selected from throughout our service area and named as finalist for the Driver of the Year award, the highest honor UPT can bestow upon a professional driver. A third party reviews their driver safety and performance metrics, and one winner is selected to win a substantial award.  

Mr. Andrew's performance was unmatched, and he was rewarded with over $20,000 in cash and prizes. 

Safety, seamless delivery, and exceptional customer service have been the core values of this company since its founding in 1966, and Carl Andrew and our other finalists have continually demonstrated a commitment to those values throughout the year.  Their skill behind the wheel, attention to detail, and dedication to our core values have ranked them among our most elite professional drivers.  Although there will only be one winner, each finalist should be proud of this tremendous achievement.  We are honored to have these talented professional drivers representing UPT every day.
